Jing Ye is a Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist, specialising in Women’s Health and FSN subcutaneous needling, available Mondays.
Jing graduated as a TCM Acupuncturist from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1992. She then worked as a medical doctor in Shanghai Jinshan Hospital (affiliated to Fudan University), as well as a years placement in the Dermatology and Acupuncture departments at Shuguang Hospital.
After this, Jing moved to the UK to practice Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in May 2002. She also completed a Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Middlesex University in 2011 .
From this, her personal interest in women’s health led to a Post-graduate Diploma course with leading acupuncturist Dr. Trevor Wing in TCM Gynaecology and Obstetrics (the Women’s Natural Health Practice) in 2012. She has also specialised in FSN – subcutaneous needling. This new technique has all the benefits of traditional acupuncture with a fraction of the sensation.
Jing is very curious about everything which has kept her studying and learning all her life. In her free time, she travels and reads quite a lot. She also likes swimming and LOVES Chinese traditional classic dancing.
Jing speaks English and Mandarin.

What should you expect from an appointment with Jing?
When you come for your first appointment, I will listen to the whole story of your complaint, and then ask some more questions about you and your family. Sometimes they may not seem relevant to your condition, but they are important for me to see the whole picture and enable me to diagnose properly.
I will check your pulses as other TCM Acupuncturists do, but I consider tongue diagnosis to be even more important than pulse. I am not a magician, so I won’t tell you that I know everything before you open your mouth. I will discuss which treatment is the best for you after the initial consultation, and we can decide together whether acupuncture, herbs or a combination of both will be most useful, as well as offering diet and lifestyle suggestions.
