Like adults, children of all ages can benefit greatly from osteopathic treatment. Paediatric osteopathy usually involves using gentle techniques such as cranial osteopathy, to treat perinatal patients, babies, children, and teenagers.

All of our Paediatric Osteopaths have completed specialist training after their Master’s degree, which means that they can safely and effectively examine, diagnose and treat children. Parents can contact us directly if they have any concerns, and we also receive referrals from other practitioners involved in the care of children such as GPs, midwives, health visitors, and speech and language therapists.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s specific case before booking, please telephone or email the practice to speak us. We are currently lucky to have Jeanne Capdeville managing our paediatric needs.

FAQ

Will my child receive any treatment in the first appointment?

We would usually expect to be able to offer treatment in the first appointment, but if it isn’t appropriate we will advise you on the best course of action.

Is there anywhere to leave a pram?

We are accessible by lift, so you can bring your pram to your appointment!

Is the clinic accessible?

We are fully accessible, as long as you use the entrance with a slope. After this, there is a lift to the first floor where the clinic is based.
