With 30 years in business, Rippon Cheese isn’t just the best cheese shop in Pimlico, it’s probably the best cheese shop in London! A local institution, Rippon Cheese was founded in 1990 by Karen and Philip Rippon, and has a successful wholesale business supplying cheeses to restaurants, pubs, caterers and events teams across the whole of London, as well as their excellent cheese shop on Upper Tachbrook Street, just around the corner from us at Pimlico Osteopathy.

If you’re into cheese, the Rippon Cheese shop is a top destination – with around five hundred different cheeses from across Europe in stock, as well as a great range of pickles, chutneys, jams and cheese paraphernalia. The temperature-controlled cheese room is an experience in itself! We like to pop in for some Raclette (or a Vacherin Mont d’Or for special occasions).

Do bear in mind that many cheeses are seasonal, so if you’ve got your heart set on something, perhaps call ahead to check if it’s in stock. As you’d expect, however, the staff at Rippon are incredibly knowledgeable on all things cheese, so if your cheese of choice isn’t an option, they’ll be full of great advice to help you select a substitute that’s every bit as delicious.  They can even help you out with a cheese wedding cake.

Conveniently located between Victoria Station and Tachbrook Market, you can buy your fresh meat, fish and vegetables from the market, and pick up your cheese on the way home.
